STEP 1
CONSULTATION
All clients have a vision of what they imagine their space to entail. At Dawland, it is our goal to make this vision a reality. The key to making this happen is having an initial design consultation with one of our highly trained design experts. This process will ensure that the team is able to fully capture the vision of each client and can present this vision to the construction lead.
The construction team will then conduct a full assessment of each property for important details such as elevation changes, current drainage systems, and other factors which could influence design. Once a plan has been agreed upon, a contract will be sent to the client to begin the design process.
STEP 2
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
Here at Dawland, we understand the key to award winning design is creativity within the realm of the client’s individuality. To be able to achieve this goal, our design team will create 2-3 conceptual designs to allow the client to imagine various possibilities for their project. This process allows the design team to capture essential feedback from each client before preparing the final design.
STEP 3
FINAL DESIGN
Following the discussion of the conceptual designs, a final design will be created based off client feedback on the initial drawings. The final design will include: a hardscape plan for construction, a planting plan that includes a leger with all plant materials and product selection, and finally a full-colour master plan of the project to truly see your vision come to life. Once this final design process is complete, the estimating department will finalize cost and your project will be ready to move into the build stage.
Final designs will include a full set of drawings as well as a digital copy upon request.

- Two 2D concept blueprints
- A hard copy of the final plan (digital copy available upon request)
- A detailed product catalogue specifying all materials
